Athletes will be grouped based on age and ability in order to ensure appropriate level of instruction.
All Skills Camp
This camp is designed for athletes who want training in all general skills.
Coaches will cover the following skills:
- Overhead volley

Underarm passing

Serve receive

Serving: float, jump float, spin

Attacking: front and back row
-
Blocking techniques: hand position, penetration, positioning, timing, footwork

Individual defensive skills

Combination drills
-
Repetition, repetition, repetition
Left Side / Right Side Camp
This camp is designed for athletes who want more specific training for left side and right side positions.
Coaches will cover the following skills:
- Proper approaches

Effective and correct arm action
-
Shot selection: line, cross court, seam, tip, roll, off hands
-
Attacking various types of sets: front and back row
-
Attacking an overpass
-
Serve receive to attack
-
Blocking: hand position, penetration, positioning, timing, footwork

Blocking to transition attack
-
Defensive positioning: front and back row
Middle Camp
This camp is designed for athletes who want specific training for middle blockers/attackers.
Coaches will cover the following skills:
- Proper approaches
- Effective and correct arm action

Shot selection: cross body, straight away, cutback, tip, rolls, off-hands

Attacking various types of sets: high, 51's, 31's, 61', steps

Attack the overpass
-
Audible system of attacking on free and down ball

Adjusting approach speed according to pass

Blocking: hand position, penetration, positioning, timing, footwork

Blocking variations: Commit, Read, Release, Fronting, Blocking to transition attack

Defensive positioning: back row, defending position five, avoiding libero!
Setter Camp
This camp is designed for athletes who want specific training at the setting position.
Coaches will cover the following skills:
- Hand and body positioning

Movement and footwork to ball

Jump setting

Variety of sets

Deception

Ball recovery off of net

Second ball attack

Blocking: hand position, penetration, positioning, timing, footwork

Transition setting: defense, down-ball free ball situations

Tactics: running an effective offense, who to set when and how
Libero Camp: Serve Receive and Defensive Training
This camp is designed for athletes who want more specific training at the libero position.
Coaches will cover the following skills:

Individual defensive skills

Defensive reading in position 5

Defensive reading in position 6

Out of system 2nd ball play

Attack coverage
Strength & Conditioning Training
Camp Highlights

Twice per week Strength & Conditioning training in small groups (6:1 coach/athlete ratio)

Training at private facility with full equipment for athletic development

Individual Fitness Analysis - Pre-camp/Post-camp Performance Testing available

Athletes will learn technically proficient movement patterns with programming using updated research-based training methods

Athletes will develop strength, speed, power, agility and overall athleticism to excel in their sport
